AN EXTRACT

I wanted to give you a taste of the book itself, and particularly some of its magic. After some head-scratching and pencil-gnawing I have chosen the scene in which Sylas first hears the Passing Bell. Of course there is always a danger when sharing extracts that you will give too much away, but as I think it is fairly clear from the title that The Bell Between Worlds features a very, very magical bell, and as this scene is such a good taste of what is to follow, I thought it worth that risk!
